14 Shell Cove Road, Neutral Bay
The interior of No 14 was intact with the original 'japanned' dark stained timber skirting, plate rail and detailed joinery and cabinets with stained glass doors. There were a number of simple and interesting hanging light fittings, inverted egg shaped ceiling vaults and pivoting doors. All have been retained and refurbished and add character to the interior spaces. The minimal detailing of the new elements fit in with earlier 'Californian' architecture.
