Mandaean Church

Due to the nature of the religion and the persecution the Mandaeans have suffered, there has been no visible precedence for a man-made structure symbolizing and representing the Mandaean church. Ceremonies for centuries have taken place by the river.
We came up with a simple understated structure to facilitate the ceremonies taking place. Integrating a happening in the landscape with a structure that improves the quality and makes the ceremony more accessible to the community.
