Boddam Whetham Pty Ltd has offered a holistic approach to
architecture since 1976.
Our studio based practice offers a tailored service
producing enduring architecture across a multitude of projects ranging from
residential, heritage refurbishment, mixed use, commercial, industrial and
interior fit outs.
Our designs are developed through an understanding of the
past and through our engagement with modern architecture culture. Our
distinctive aesthetic is described as both ‘contemporary and classic’. We
produce site responsive architecture that responds to our clients brief, socio
economic needs and the broader community in which we work.
Design concepts are uniquely explored across multiple
disciplines from the architecture, interior and bespoke furniture design
delivering a consistent aesthetic with a strong focus on craftsmanship and
quality.
We work with people; our clients, consultants and local authorities
to achieve the best possible outcome. It is through this approach that we have
achieved consistent planning approvals and are often able to obtain approval
where others can’t.

building processes and regulations combined with our contextual design approach

Concepts are presented through hand sketches whilst later
being developed and explored through 3d visuals. Informed design decisions
regarding, sustainability and construction planning are made early in the
process.
We utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) to coordinate
consultants in a 3d capacity, which is becoming the industry standard for best
practice using REVIT. The flow of information from architect to the engineers, project
managers and builders is delivered in a timely manner through our high quality
documentation.
Cost control is top of mind, and regular client briefings
ensure that budgets are maintained and revisions are factored in so that the
client’s cost expectations are not only maintained, but met.
