Having graduated on the Deans Honors List in Architecture at Sydney University in 2003 Daniel then went on to gain experience. Throughout the 6 year degree course Daniel worked under an apprenticeship in the family business. After graduating from Sydney University he worked in London for 2 years with Black Architecture a firm specialised in sustainable mixed use developments. Here he gained valuable experience in the new technologies and systems that are being practiced in environmental architecture.
Boddam Whetham Architects was established in 2007 with the partnership of father and son with the mutual love of architecture. Daniel brings his experience of sustainable urban architecture and project delivery through cutting edge computer software to the practice.
Daniel's design sensibilities have been strengthened through travelling to Europe where he lived in Spain and London working as an artist in London Bridge. During his time in London Daniel established a working art studio and exhibited his art at the Battersea Contemporary Art Fair and the Sunday Up Market. In Sydney Daniel has exhibited work in the Tin Sheds Art Gallery and Richard Martin Fine Arts Gallery.
David graduated in Architecture at Sydney University in 1967 and at NSW University in Building Construction. David with his wife Jeannette started their own practice in 1976 which produced landmark buildings in single residents, commercial buildings, cinema’s and industrial projects.
David has also been the Project Leader for “Environmental Study of the Cooks River” and “Environmental and Tourist Study for Da Nang Vietnam” and undertaken work in New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Singapore. David studied sculpture at East Sydney Technical College and painting at the Royal Art Society Of NSW and the Mosman Artists Group. These interests and a love of history combined in a 6 year contribution of articles and sketches on the history of the built environment of Mosman in the magazine “2088”.
David provides a wealth of experience and support to Boddam Whetham Architects through construction detailing, specification, construction and contract management.

Boddam Whetham is a boutique practice specializing in bespoke luxury interiors. They work both with clients and interior decorators and designers in producing detailed Kitchens, bathrooms and customized furniture designs. Designs are delivered 3D using cutting edge computer software with capabilities of presenting photorealistic images of designs with accurate materials and finishes throughout the design process. A research project on sustainability and the interior environment has led them into developing a range of Eco friendly Kitchens, Bathrooms and joinery items that use materials and finishes from renewable resources and that have a low embodied energy content. They have the ability to quote on the design and installation of these items.
